Breedon Aggregates PLC is the largest independent construction materials group in the UK. They produce cement, construction aggregates, asphalt, ready-mixed concrete and other valuable construction materials.
Due to the nature of their business, they operate across numerous large-scale plants which can be incredibly hard to keep safe and secure. Their plants also hold many expensive pieces of machinery used to complete their day to day tasks.
Breedon Aggregates contacted us after experiencing a series of thefts on one of their plants. They noticed large sections of electrical cable were being cut from their machinery in the quarry, which was slowing down their production. We suggested a bespoke Intruder Detection System, which would link video directly into our manned control room. That way, in the event of an alarm activation we would be able to dispatch an officer immediately.
Since the introduction of our Intruder Detection System, Breedon Aggregates have not had another incident, allowing them to operate with peace of mind knowing their assets are safe and secure.
